Month 3: Fish

Dive into Month 3 of our engaging preschool curriculum with a splash of excitement and learning about Fish! This month, children will explore the fascinating underwater world through interactive science lessons, including discovering what fish are, their different parts, and their habitats. They’ll create fish-themed crafts, engage with our Fish Magazine, and play fun games like fishing to reinforce their learning. Language arts activities focus on sequencing and constructing complete sentences, while math lessons introduce ordinal numbers and concepts like “many” and “few” with engaging, hands-on activities. In addition to science and math, our art segment encourages creativity through tracing and coloring, and physical activities like Twister and ball throwing keep kids active and coordinated. Weekly reviews with the calendar, weather cards, and color kits help reinforce concepts, and we’ll round off the month with tasty snacks like Apricot Crisp and Veggie Soup. Special activities include visiting an aquarium or pet store to see real fish and reading “The Rainbow Fish” to deepen their understanding.
